So 3-19 i was driving to a mechanics shop. when a lexus es 300 hit the brakes for no reason. of course i was behind her probably tailgating a little. the same time she braked i was looking down. i looked up and she was about a car length away i hit the brakes quick and tried to stop. unfortunately for her i didn't. i slammed into the back of her lexus brush guard first and pushed her car about 2 car lengths. i instantly noticed there was damage.... as i saw her car i was hoping that my truck was fine after we pulled over. i got out to go make sure she was okay her and her mom im guessing were fine. i then turned and looked at my truck and to my surprise no damage for far i got up close and there were to little dents where the brush guard brackets bent and brush guard back. these are the results.

i got lucky and i now have the brush guard back on and it fits better now

I think that is one of the consequences of the brush guard, it focuses the impact area to two vertical lines.

If you didnt have it, both of your bumpers would have taken the impact - which are a cake to replace.

so, she was in a lexus and there is a truck behind her.. and she brake checks you? ha.. i bet she wont do that again.

also you shouldnt be following too close.

I don't believe in the word accident. It's a myth. There is however lots of cases of carelessness.

Looks like you hit them pretty hard. They may not have felt an injury immediately, but they could be today.

My friend Txplates was rear ended last year and he was ok the first day, but then he had a lot of pain for like over a month.

Anyways, I hope everyone is ok.

that sux i got a lil dent on my hood from getting an accident with my sport. It was raining one day and i was trying to make a u turn and my x lost control and hit a toyota sequoia and it made a dent on my hood and then the sequoia had there driver side wheel pushed in and a lil dent on the driver door.

i was going to fix the dent but i decided to leave it cause i might be sellin my explorer next year.
