Lemme tell y'all a hillarious story. I was at Costco the other day tryin to get some new tires for my mom's station wagon. Since im sittin around, i decide to talk to the employee about my X. I ask him why the BFG's AT/KO's are wearing in such an odd pattern. No matter how much air pressure i fill my tires with, the outsides of the tread wear so mcuh faster than the middle. Im running them at 42psi!!! I tell him i have a stock 98 X with 30X9.5's and he nearly falls to the floor! He tells me that those are the wrong tires i got for my car and i am in great danger of flipping over. then he refers me to all the Firestone rollover incidents. Then he begins to blame Explorers for their poor design and that is the reason all those explorers flipped over. NOT BECAUSE OF CRAPPY @$$ FIRESTONE TREAD SEPARATION... Which everyone knows was the true cause of all the accidents. At this point, im thinking, "you dont know what the FREAK you are talkin bout dood." but i just let the guy continue to talk outta his ARSE and just finish... so whatever. that Costco TIRE SPECIALIST, although a really nice guy, KNOWS CRAP ABOUT TIRES.

a lot of chain stores do that as a CYA....they arent enthusiats like us.... jsut paid to be drones..from whatever they are told... most of them wouldnt know a tire if it rolled over them

I'm a Costco manager and I don't agree with what that Tire Center guy said. I'm going with 35's on my truck in the next week. Yea, Costco has to cover their own ass and recommend the manufactured suggested tire, but this guy went way into left field. He was just talking from personal experience. Don't listen to them. He was wrong in mentioning anything about Ford and Firestone. They have nothing to do with Costco. Sorry about your bad experience.

you should of been like... "what are you driving?" if he said chevy something you should have ripped him apart... anyway Kris, your pictures arent working from the other thread.... just wondering how much those fogs costed you and if you did and shaving.

not enough power then?

do you have the stock ones that came with your sport also?

oh really so the piaa's are like the stock fogs? Because I think i might go to costco.com tomorrow and check it out, do you have a switch for them or what are they wired to the other fogs or headlamps?

Alright thanks a lot man, it looks good
