Credibility of Ford EX Safety!

As we all know, Ford has been getting SLAMMED recently because of the Firestone issue and not to mention the story on Dateline the other night with the Ford F-150 failing the off set head on crash test (Miserably). Credibility of ford safety is dying. This concerns me now because I have to sell my truck because im leaving the country for a while. I fear im going to have to take a loss on the truck.

I did some research and found some good news. At least for my year 96', the Ford Explorer seemed to be the safest mid sized SUV in its price class, in some cases by far! How do we relay this info to the general public? I don't want to deprive the upcoming, new SUV'ers the experience of the best made SUV on the market because of ignorance!

I want some one to pay me lots of $$ to benefit from my incredibly awesome truck!! I'm going to miss the thing soo much.

here is some proof that explorers are safe. I have a 98 ford explorer sport. I was driving on a street down here in south cali, and i UHAUL truck hit me HEAD ON! I was going about fourty and he was going about 10. I ripped up his car and my car was not that bad. The airbags came on and everything. But me and my friend were unharmed. It totaled to be about 9 thousand in damages. But this is just proof that they are really safe. I'll see If i can post some pics of my damaged exploder

I can personally vouch for the built in safety features of my '94 Explorer!

Last December 28th I was broadsided by a 16 year old driving over the speed limit during one of the worst snowstorms of the season. I was trying to turn left at a stoplight (green lite for me) when out of the corner of my eye I see this BIG A$$ Buick coming at my drivers side with his brakes locked up. He must of slid about 50 feet before he hit me. The cop rated his speed at 40MPH at the moment of impact. The Drivers door absorbed the brunt of the impact, with the outer skin caving in just a few inches! It took out the left front fender,door hinge post, drivers side front door, and the rocker panels under the drivers door.

The 16 year old's car (Mommy's) suffered a smashed grille, puntured radiator, crushed headlights, etc. While he waited for a tow truck, I drove my X to the body shop!

THEN I went to the hospital!!!! Do I love my X, or what?!?

I totally believe in the Ford Explorer. Safest vehicle I've ever owned!!!

My wife and daughter walked a way from my old explorer when it rolled. They had absolutely no injuries what soever. Nuff said about the X safety!!

It was about 8 pm christmas night. I was going over my girlfriends house. It was a dry night out. I was sitting at a red light when all of a sudden I felt my X jerk forward a little bit. At first I thought I just took my foot off the brake real quick then pressed it back down really fast. well I look up in my rearview and it looks like the guy behind me is sitting in the back of my truck. I was like wtf. I get out of my truck realizing I had just been hit. The guy that hit me was completely wasted. He was driving a ford escort. The cops guessed he was doing about 25 when he hit me. to make a long story short the escort needed a new front end when all I needed was a new license plate cover.

Ok, so now that we have established that the Ford Explorer is a safe truck, How do we get the word to the general public?

When people see my truck or any other Ford X, now they are thinking "Look at that Ford Exploder, such death traps". I want them to think "Look at that Ford Explorer, what an awesome truck, I want one too! I want to pay LOTS of $$ for 96 EddieB's Explorer!"
