My 2007 to me shifts a little fast or to quick from 1st to 2nd.

Is there something out there that will improve this. A new chip or burn the board like they do for diesels.

If this makes no sense ask some questions, because I am not sure I am stating the question the way it makes sense.

I know the ST is not a rocket, but I would like something that shifts crisp rather than like some wet noodle. :D

You could buy a tuner and redo your shifting points....?
I'm kinda talking out of my rear on that one, I just know with those tuner tools (like $350 or so) you can do a multitude of things, one of which being "adjusting your shifting points."

There is a TSB on a reflash program for the tranny that the dealer can do. I had it done on mine, it was better although recently it is taking its sweet ol' time shifting into reverse again. A tuner can reprogram the shift points and firmness as well as help your mpg, I'm thinking of getting one.

Name brands of any tuners out there or what to search to buy one?

Dudes at the other Sport Trac site like the XCal or SCT, which seem to be the same thing now. I Googled XCal and it gave me the SCT site.
