ok, so last saturday, I'm cruising down the highway with the cruise on 70. A car pulls out in front of me, giving me plenty of time to react. I tap the brake waiting for the cruise to kick off, it doesn't. I then hit the brake semi-hard to kick it off. I slow down to about 55, then the cruise kicks the tranny down a gear and takes back off. At this point I turn the cruise back off. I was able to use it, just had to turn it off when approaching a slower vehicle. Any ideas???

First guess is a problem with the brake on off switch. Do you have brake lights?

affirmative, brake lights are a go.

It sure sounds like a problem in the brake on/off circut to the speed control module.

oh yeah, nothing like trying to track down an electrical problem:rolleyes:
