I was driving on the interstate a couple weeks ago and just as I pressed the set button on the cruise control I heard and felt a clunk in the floor and the cruise would not set. I didn't run over anything. The light will come on but it will not set. No other issues noted. Any suggestions? Thanks

Don't bring the car to the dealer. It is a simple fix. Just search around on this forum. It could be the switch for the master cylinder. The part is 25.00 and 5 minutes of work.

I tried searching for cruise contol issues but I was having some difficulty finding anything. I will look more with your suggestions. Thanks

The switch on the master cylinder. Literally takes 30 seconds to install. Costs between $25 and $50. Any dealership has 2 in stock, and, amazon/ebay have them.
