I used a pair of pliers, BUT be careful!! Don't squeeze too hard or you could break the conectors, and then you would have a REAL problem. As I said in my post (above) they are really tough to pull off, but they will come off. As far as I could tell, there is no "Catch" or "Release" that you have to un-do to pull them out of the switch(s). Just remove the swithches from the steering wheel, by taking out the two screws, and grab the hard plastic connector (NOT THE WIRES) with your fingers, or GENTLY with pliers, and work it loose. When installing the new switche(s) onto the wiring harness, I never did hear a "Click" or a "Snap" when I pushed the connector(s) on. You just have to be sure they are pushed into the switch as far as they will go (No pliers needed for this part). Good luck! I hope yours turn out as good as mine did!
