2002 Explorer Sport Trac
My son was driving my Sport Trac on Monday night. He lost control on I81 in southwest VA (snow turning to ice) and had a mild fender bender with a semi. While he and the semi driver were exchanging insurance info, another semi lost control, left the travel lane and creamed my truck. He, his girlfriend and the other driver managed to dive out of the way and were uninjured.

while I wait for the insurance adjuster, here are a few pics of the carnage:

Sad to see, it's toast. Those frames bend very easy in the rear. If you have a buyback option and want to resell send me a PM please.

"The more you know, the luckier you are."

Somebody must know an awful lot! Glad everyone is ok. Think you're gonna need a new truck.

Fair weather semi drivers.....

^ Ditto. Wonder if they're blaming their "stupid" phones. :fire:

Glad to hear everyone is OK! Far to many injuries it seems from lookieloos plowing into things!

Well, it's official: my beloved Sport Trac is a total loss. Let the hunt begin!
