Custom grills

I am looking for a "custom" grill and I mean an actual custom grill. One that I can create myself. Not one that is premade by someone else. I don't have a specific vehicle...I am going to get one for my boyfriend...I am thinking about a Ford F150 XLT or something like that. Anyways I have heard that these custom grills are available....does anyone know of a site that I can go to to get one of these grills? Please help me! Thank you.

i've never heard of an actual grill that is custom.... i mean, i know they sell different grills, but if you dont have a specific vehicle how do you make it?

Doesn't that mean the opposite. I mean you want to make one not buy one then you say you want to buy one. Maybe it's just me.

We are getting a little too technical here. LOL Yes I want to make one I want it custom made for me....I can't make it myself and since I cannot do so I will have to buy it after it is made.

What are you thinking you want it to be? I would start with a billet grill and maybe have a custom fabricator make a small piece that could be welded on.

For example, my buddy has an F350 with a billet grille, he found a Transformers chrome emblem on Ebay and stuck it to the grille. In my opinion there is a lot of tacky things out there for grilles such as skulls, stars and stripes, flames etc. Pretty lame, but if you got him a grille and maybe had a metalworker make you a small emblem (of whatever you are thinking) it will be a lot less, I could see a custom grille costing well over a thousand bucks.

I would do this idea would be a lot cheaper . Just find some thing he like and have it made into an emblem and stick it on it.

A custom, hand-made grille? Sounds like a quilt. The grille has to be breathable, and pretty much generic - meaning it's not unique. If you find a custom grille $$$$ Maybe a grille from a classic owned by someone famous? A Frank Sinatra grille or something like that...
