Custom hood request

[Rust_Sucks]

I was wondering if any of you modders out there that are handy with a welding torch would be willing to "whip up" a hood for a first gen explorer that has a cowl induction style scoop or something else that looks cool. I`m not asking for this for free, I will pay for material and labor. I live in southern Ohio, and close is good for shipping reasons. If you already have a spare laying around then thats even better.

don't want to sound rude, but i don't thing you will find anyone that will do a custom hood for under $400. there is a lot of labour involved, because you have a big flat panel that is just waiting to wrap on you the second you start to wield on it. you would probably be better off going fiberglass. that's my 2 cents

hey spdrcer, i remeber seeing some of the pictures of your hood while you were doing it, that must have been a ***** to do! how many hours do you figure it took you to get it ready for paint?

If you could do it for $450, then I`d take you up on that. I wouldn`t pay that for just any hood, but you did an awesome job on a badass hood. The only catch is I won`t have $450 until about two months from now.

Lets do it, just pm me if any problems/concerns arise. We have at least a couple of months to figure out how to ship the hood. Do you need any sort of down payment to get started?
