me either.....plus ive heard some not so great things about their hoods.......the cougar/t-bird forums i used to visit there were a lot of guys on there that bought hoods from Cervini and they didnt like the quality
Cervini's has some of the BEST quality hoods on the planet!!!! Us mustang guys swear by them. I have one on each of my mustangs and the fit, finish, quality are next to none... they are by far one of the best!!! H.O FiberTrends being in the top 2 with Cervini's.... However Cervini's does not make hoods for the X or the 89-92/91-94 Explorer..... they only make one for the 93+ ranger.
There are many companys that make cowl hoods for 89-92 rangers which would fit the 91-94 X perfect.... except I dont know off hand if the hange design is the same....
I know the newer 95+ explorer and the 93+ ranger have different hinge designs.... (which is beyond me.... wouldnt you want to save many and have 1 design instead of ten) But not sure if the 89-92 ranger and 91-94 X are the same hinge.
Trolls hood is 100% real. I saw it in person and have pictures of it. Its the coolest looking when siitng inside it and looking out over the hood.... its just a bubble in the hood. Dan has it listed for sale but to my knowledge does not have any made and or selling them at this time. Bill was going to have a mold made of the hood but not that many people wanted to fork out the cash for it, and making the mold would have messed up his paint ..... Its a factory metal explorer hood with a 96-98 mustang cobra center graphed to it. Its looks complete stock straight from the fatory. They did a top notch job on that hood!
ok i found some hood scoops for like 80 bucks on stylinconceptscom that look exactly like what i was aiming for. has anyone else used thease? if so are they quality?
