Custom Hoods

I am interested in any information oout there regarding custom hoods available for my 1993 Ford Explorer. I notice many different styles available for every other type of SUV, but Explorers. Any input would be appreciated.

Next time you are at the store pick up a magazine aimed at the street truck crowd (Truckin', Street Truck, MiniTruckin'). Look at the advertisers and what they have available for the Rangers. I know I have seen a few different style ranger hoods and they are the same ('89-'92) as your Explorer.

When you get that scoop installed your going to have to take pictures and post 'em here. I have been considering installing one on my 97 Sport. I'm actually going to use it in a ram air setup. I'm just not sure how it will look.

I contacted R&D Speed in NH the other day about a crowl induction type hood for my '92 Navajo. Their responce was, "US Body Source in FL has one for about $425.00, ouch!!!
I want one but that is a lot of money.
I sent an e-mail to K bar S about their hood for the Rangers/BroncoII's with the 351 type scoop and the dropped front edge. No reply to date. I am e-mailing again today.

So far NO-GO
