Custom Seats

Has anyone ever put new seats in a 1st generation? Anything custom like some racing bucket seats?

I'm also curious how new of seats I could snag from another Ex. Any ideas or pics?

I think that anything from a first or second gen ex would fit.

Yeah 1st or 2nd gen seats would fit. I have one of these in my mountaineer, it just about bolted up to my stock seat tracks, just had to drill 2 holes.

good deal, nice lookin' seats. I am simply brainstorming at the moment. My interior is ok for now but i know it'll need some help in a couple years. It will be the last area I go to customize. Although, not having a center console or ANY cupholders/storage space in my 1st gen is getting kind of old. Thanks for the help guys!

Yes stock sliders but I made my own adapters for it to fit on them.

if you can find the cupholder that goes into your window stuffs, they look really flimsy but they hold up pretty well...

Seats so far are good but the seat rails I bought with them jacked me up an inch or two... good for short guys but I'm 6'. I've been meaning to see if I can modify the stock rails but it hasn't been that important yet.

i have f150 lighting seats in mine just made some tabs on the o.g seat rails and now there electric too
its easier to just find some buckets and make tabs but there a pain to hop into for a d/d if your rides even the slightest bit lifted.haah
