Are you kidding me? We want to see pics of you sailing 10 ft in the air!... some good pics so everyone can see the finished product.
Ohhhhh that other vehicle.. the one with the backwards facing mid-mounted engine? And a gear-driven transfer case used as a V-drive? and a 4-linked Ford-9" ran upside down for counter rotation and hi-pinion? Where is the thread for that project anyway :shifty_eyUmmm no lol. Thats what a LT kit is for thats another project on another vehicle.

do you still have torsion bars?? or coilovers?
I still have the torsion bars. You can check it all out on my cardomain. just click the link on my sig.
i agree. i started my never-ending project of my explorer a couple of years ago when i was barely learning mechanics and all. I came upon this site and been learning more ever since. I would love to start up fresh, now that i know so much. Things like: which products to use and what goals to make.
Speaking of sport tracs, does anyone know about their chassis. I know the sport trac has the same front end suspension as second gen expos. They also use the same 4.0 sohc with different upper intake manifolds i believe(why are those different anyways?). My question is now if you can swap engines for a 5.0 on a second gen explorer, what would stop you from doin it to a sport trac?
Nvm. You can swap. i just did a search. But i feel like starting a thread about the upper intake manifold question. unless someone here knows.
If your interested in a coilover setup the guy building my truck can do it for you. Im ditching the torsion bars very soon for a radflo dual rate coilover setup...
are you going to use the dual rate whith the stock lower arm set up? going with a different kit or what?
