Haha, thanks for clearing that up.

Sean, with the pictures on your PC, just right click the thumbnail etc, and select edit. There should be a stretch/resize choice in that editor. My 5.0mp camera usually needs about a 30% size of original to fit the 600x800 limits here. So play with the sizing until it is just under the limits of the site.

... some good pics so everyone can see the finished product.
Are you kidding me? We want to see pics of you sailing 10 ft in the air! :p:

Ummm no lol. Thats what a LT kit is for thats another project on another vehicle.
Ohhhhh that other vehicle.. the one with the backwards facing mid-mounted engine? And a gear-driven transfer case used as a V-drive? and a 4-linked Ford-9" ran upside down for counter rotation and hi-pinion? Where is the thread for that project anyway :shifty_ey

hahaha...how'd you hear about the junkyard trophy truck?

LOL, i forgot all about that project. Ill get started on that right now. Shoul only take a few hundred years to build. Lol. And get it right its a revolutionary 5 link design, but thats top secret i could tell you but then.....well you know..

do you still have torsion bars?? or coilovers?

I still have the torsion bars. You can check it all out on my cardomain. just click the link on my sig.

If your interested in a coilover setup the guy building my truck can do it for you. Im ditching the torsion bars very soon for a radflo dual rate coilover setup...

Thanks for the info, but i might be selling the expo sometime in the near future anyways. Next project would prolly be a long travel sport trac.

i agree. i started my never-ending project of my explorer a couple of years ago when i was barely learning mechanics and all. I came upon this site and been learning more ever since. I would love to start up fresh, now that i know so much. Things like: which products to use and what goals to make.
Speaking of sport tracs, does anyone know about their chassis. I know the sport trac has the same front end suspension as second gen expos. They also use the same 4.0 sohc with different upper intake manifolds i believe(why are those different anyways?). My question is now if you can swap engines for a 5.0 on a second gen explorer, what would stop you from doin it to a sport trac?

Nvm. You can swap. i just did a search. But i feel like starting a thread about the upper intake manifold question. unless someone here knows.

Oh man, i can't wait to be doing what that ^ranger^ does. :burnout:

See post number 24 in this thread about the only issues with swapping a 5.0 into a Sport Trac. This guy has done his research! (He swapped a 5.0 into a newer Ranger).
