can we say i am excited. now lets see if it fits. got it used...of course, thanks to the convincing persuasion of Trckmagik. lol. now. lets see if it fits.

You will be okay... I have done it to a couple explorers. You are not a hardcore rock crawler in 1 wheel drive. You will be fine until you can find some 15 x 8 trust me

Well, It looks like I will be a 1WD sporting 35's. I can't get my electronic 4wd switch to activate. All the little things to work on since picking my truck up yesterday.

I have to do some searchs on fixing my 4wd switch, seems like I can manually put it in 4 Lo but don't remember the details. I got work to do before I can wheel.

Rob, I hope you can figure it all out. Is there no power to the T-case or are the connections just gunked out from sitting for years?
I think I am ready. I have to get some new tires installed on the F-150 before I tow with it again.

Oh yeah, ROB hows the truck sound with that motor in it? I cant wait to see it. I almost want to drive over and check it out. Let me know if you need help with anything to prepare and I can come help. I have gotten pretty good with the ole explorers over the past couple years.

Tammy (Mrs. Darkman) got a surprise extra paycheck (changing from temp to hire), and she twisted my arm until I gave in.

BamBam's sittin' on brand new 31x10.50s!!! WAAHOOOOO!! I got five, so the spare matches too!

Those Pirelli's are beeeautiful. I gained a full inch of clearance! That's a lot for an idiot stocker! And, as an added bonus, NOTHING rubs, even at full crank. I'm sure I'll get rub once it gets flexxxy, but I can cope with that.

SVO, sorry, but I'll do all I can to sell your 30x9.50s (and your Caddy.) Surely with all the folks coming to Barnwell (from three clubs) there will be someone looking for good AT 30s.

To manually put it in 4lo you just need to remove the shift motor and use something like pliers or a screwdriver to turn the selector. You can ask Randall about it. He has been shifting his manually.

I have a lot of little things to do to get ready. I need to put seats and seatbelts back in. Check some of the wiring to make sure that it is not in the way of anything.
