Dana 35 Destruction

I've been contemplating swapping in a solid Dana 44 but I don't really want to spend the cash if it's not really needed.

The question I have is has anyone broke anything in or destroyed their 35? Anything besides hubs.

The only one I've ever heard of is Ricks when he broke his. Thanks.

Its not the internals that are going to break. Its the drop down brackets, the bearings, and the hubs. All which seem minimal but after doing it two or three times it gets old and you want something more solid that won't have those constant headaches. That and alignments. Plus as Rick has stated your ride will be better.

uh...matt....as i recall, you can't use his. you don't have a dana 35....you have a Sterling Van-Dyke front diffy. so you won't be able to use it...sorry bud.
