I've pretty much decided to put 4.10's in my '98 5.0 AWD. The rear is easy, plain 'ole Ford 8.8's, but I don't know much about the Dana 35 front differential, does it use reverse cut gears? Where have other people gotten their 4.10's for the front differential from? Do Jeeps use the same front differential gears in any of their models? It looks like they used Dana 30's in a bunch of their stuff. It seems like finding Jeep gears is relatively easy.

From what I have read is that standard cut gears for the IFS D35. Being that the Explorer came with 4:10s as an option you can get them at the dealer. may be easier than trying to find at the bone yard.

I have an extra factory set I can part with. I'll PM you.
