dana 44 auto locking hubs

i have a dana 44 with auto locking hubs, will i need to convert them to manual locking hubs for them to work in my mounty?

That depends, what did it come out of? More specifically are they vacuum or electrically activated? Either way you would have to make a provision to lock them. For simplicity I would convert to manual.

I have mile marker manual hubs on mine. I always have to play with the driveshaft to get the drivers side to lock in. FYI
