Dang..still nothing from ford

What do you mean no clock? The clock is still there. Its even bigger than before.
That was going to be my question as well. Every picture I've seen shows the time. It is the temperature display that was removed from the MFT screen.

My install took about 45 min. The clock appears on the screen. The temperature, direction and the clock is on the right hand console display. I found the rear camera stays on for a lot longer than it did before. If you start the car place it in reverse and then drive and don't move forward the camera stays on... When you move forward it goes off in about 20 seconds. Not a problem just different.
I did not have any problems to speak of on the old system. The new system looks great my wife likes it, that all that counts.

I'm still on the old V2.4 version and have the same thing. The reason it is like this is because you have the 'Delay' feature chosen. The camera stays on until you reach 5 mph (8 kmph). In the old version you can change that by going into Menu/Vehicle Settings/ Rear View Camera.
I'm not sure if it is the same in the updated version.

I have a build date of March 31, 2011 and guess that people with earlier build dates would also have to get the update from a dealer.
I have to go to the dealer because I won't be receiving a blue packet. As others have said, syncmyride.com will say whether or not you need to go to the dealer. If you do there is a link to print out a document to bring to the dealer saying they have to do the update free of charge.

I'd call ahead to make sure they have an SD card (if you have NAV).
