i need to fix this fast because when im driving at night i cant see any of my dash(speed, rpms, gas, etc)

pull the dash out.on the back thir is a plug.

I believe the Haynes and Chiltons manuals have pictures of these taken apart, with the bulb locations shown. I do believe you need to pull the dash (or at least a portion of it). It's been a while since I looked in that section.

i was just in there lookin for it and i had the entire dash completely off and in the back seat and i couldnt find it, maybe it was just right in front of my eyes?

Assuming your's is like my '91 (and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be), you need to pull off the the dash trim piece that goes around the instrument cluster and climate controls etc.. then you'll remove the (probably torx) screws securing the instrument cluster in (I think there will be 2 on the upper portion and two on the lower portion) and pull the instrument cluster. On the back side will be the connectors for the various bulbs. An important note, be very careful around the copper tracings on the back of the panel, fingernails can scratch them very easily and the oils in your hand can increase the resistance in them causing them to burn out down the road.

Hope this helps.

well the lightbulb i have is rather large and im starting to think that this isnt the bulb for that. my sister just bought a newer car and her cd deck isnt secured in all the way(like mine) and she has to like jiggle it to get her dash to light up. im pretty sure my friend just didnt plug it up right(seeing that he couldnt figure out why the door speakers arent working now either) and that its just a plug or something behind my cd deck...maybe im wrong

Use the Force... Or better yet, just check a manual or wiring diagram while you have it apart...

Mike
