I have a 98 ford explorer sport with the 4.0 sohc. Last night I was cruising around and my dash lights went out and my emergency break light won't come on when it is engaged. Also about 20 minutes after that my speedometer quit working and my abs light came on and my cruise control does not work. I currently do not have my DRL relay in from behind my front bumper because I need a new one. Would these have anything to do with each other? I have checked all the fuses to do with the instrument panel and they are fine. What would cause these things to happen?
