I went through a big mud puddle today (which ive gone through countless times, and it was a lot wetter before) and after i got off the trail and onto the road I notcied the battery light was on. I took it to my friends shop and he said fiddle with the sensor cable...nothing. It looked closer and it was full of mud and dirt. I took some brake-kleen to it and the mud was still there. Took a power washer to it and got all the mud off...started right up but the damn light is still on.

Greg did a load test and its only putting out .07 amps...

Anyone have a fix for this or did i fry something?

You probably fried the alternator. Happened to me once after I "washed" the engine. Alternator + Water = Crapout
