I have a '97 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 4x4. When I try to start it, it will just make a clicking noise under the dash. I have located the noise coming from what looks like a relay box that is behind the middle console, and also there is a clicking noise coming from the left rear wheel well where the jack is stored. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Your battery is dead. If its just a clicking noise and no cranking, chances are your battery is dead.
