tires contain nitrogen, the valve cap is yellow.

I've only seen green valve caps for nitrogen filled tires, and never thought anything of it until I found out why the valve caps were that color.

We finally picked up our truck yesterday and it came with green caps.... Around here that definately means nitrogen filled.... Are Explorers all shipping like this or is it something our dealer did?

Probably something your dealer did. Now that the new Explorers are out, I'm starting to see more and more -- none with the green caps.
