Decieded againest Struttek struts.

Got it installed, can't tell the difference from the original. Quality looks good too.

Took me the rest of the day to install both on my rears (taking my time doing some brake inspection too)

One thing that speeds up the process is that I didn't remove the tie rod from the knuckle (just the sway bar and lower arm to knuckle bolt), instead I remove the calipers and rotors (leaving the rotor is ok too) Both the struts slide in and out easily. Could be done faster if you have a buddy helping but it could be done by yourself.

Update. I've hadmine on for about three weeks. Unless something else is wrong with my truck these struts are way to stiff. I replaced all four. Also did all front ball joints at the same time. I used the Mevotech brand from rockauto. Also replaced one rear hub. I swear the truck rides harsher than when I had the broken springs. Although the ride is a lot more secure no more bouncing and swaying. It is extremely rough. My truck now has rattles I've never heard before. Anyone else have this experience. I know the fronts only go in one way but is it possible to install the rear struts the wrong way. I'm hoping it is my tires they are worn pretty badly from all the broken suspension parts.

I have no issues with mine. Maybe it seems too stiff because your suspension was so messed up prior to installing them? :dunno:

Guilty I did some tightning wild it was on a lift. You think the load might have loosened some. I didn't think it was an issue.

it's always recommended that when tightening suspension components, the tires should be installed and level to the ground (carrying the full load) or use a floor jack against the lower arm to simulate the load.

They are noticeably stiffer, and mine might have settled 1/4" to 1/2" max but they did lift the back about 1 3/4". But, like you said cornering and road manners seem tighter than OEM struts so that makes sense. Mine have been on about 18 months now. That being said, it does ride more "truck like" now, which doesn't really bother me, it's not crazy harsh just firmer than stock.

No issues at all. I am in the salt belt and there is very minimal corrosion. They ride like the day they were installed, and have roughly 25-30k on them.
