just saw on rockauto monroe econo matic struts $93 r they new. anyone try these model out or the lacree. they always seem to have just 1 remaining. same with the raybestos and i dont want to mix brands. let me know im sure im not the only one a budget. i just did all fronts bjoints, sway links fronts n rear, dont want to buy poor performance struts and ruin my ride. any input is highly appreciated.

i'd stay away from anything with 'econo' in it, just my opinion. I've always been a big fan of Monroe SensaTrac's, soft yet firm ride, got 100k+ out of a set for a heep, still going strong after 11years.

You can find struttek info in the "modified" forum.

Those are the only one of the three that some EX owners have expierience with. Pretty good so far and you can get all 4 for around $330.

strutek it is then

Be sure to let us know how you make out.

I am having the 4 strutek's installed on my ex as we speak...Let me drive on the lovely Brooklyn NY streets for a week and I'll let you know how they feel..Also having another wheel bearing changed as well as ball joints.

I like the Strutek's...nice ride from them...I didn't have to do a bearing, two of the tires wore bad and were humming..ordered 2 new Revo's...

my rear is humming i checked tires and they r cupped prob from bad struts since both hubs been changed last summer. thanks for input all
