Ups just dropped off all four unibearings today! And after having no luck finding the knuckle seats and sirclips local I ended up getting the seats national part number 710519 from rock auto around $24 each then I found the sirclips Ford F872-3B457-AA on ebay from Tasca Ford for $23 each, now I just gotta get the u joints for the front driveshaft and I can start

Hot dam! Fed ex just dropped off all four half shafts, and the seats and clips should be here today or tomorrow, bad news is the manual 4406 I had at the shop grew legs, so now I have to find another one and the driveshafts for the mounty

I did that same mod to my Mounty. I love it, true 2wd with a manual t-case! You'll like it a lot. I've had those AVM hubs on mine for a couple of years now with zero issues. They're fine for all but the most hardcore wheeling.

I always keep at least 2 of those on hand. My local Ford dealer gets them for me but they're not usually in stock so I don't have them for a couple of days. I got caught once without them when I had to dig into the front end, and I said never again! I see you bought extras as well.

Not extras, im doing my v8 sport and my mounty, I do plan on getting some, Im already pissing my wife off with how much I've spent so extras will have to wait, I just keep telling her she will love it when im done,

Got my u joints $16.28 each, Moog 353 for the front shaft to diff , and I have drive shafts on the way and as soon as I get a shipping cost my manual 4406 will be on its way.

Driveshafts just showed up, and a manual 4406 with shifter and all is on its way, once its here I'll be doing the AVMs and t-case swap on the mountaineer first, then once the wife is out of my hair I'll jump back on Vader, but I'll try to document both in here with more pics

Kinda waiting for the weather to make up its mind before I start , 70 degrees yesterday and a blizzard tonight , I did however get one last part, its from a 98 f-350 we junked months ago,

Its for the mounty so im probably gonna paint the plastic grey to match the interior, it has two cigarette burns in the top of the boot ,I have fixed this before in other rigs with a little black rtv and a popsicle stick, it was free so I dont mind

Just a little update , got the AVM hubs installed on the mountaineer today , hopefully I'll get the 4406 swap done tomorrow
