I know it 's a such a basic question, and I feel like an idiot for asking it, but I'm having problems finding the answer on my own. I'm getting 15x8 python rims for Christmas and wondering how I determine if the tire will fit my rims or not. If the tire says it fits on a 15 rim does that mean if fits on all 15's, no matter if the rim is 15x 8, 10 ,12 ? Does that mean sence my stock rim is also a 15 that I can take that tire off there and put it on the 15x 8 rims? I know I'm making it tougher than it really is, just bear in there with me!

any tire with the numbers ending with a 15 (235/75/15 or 31x10.50 R 15) will fit on 15" rims, but: you also have to watch tire width. A 15x8 is basically good for any tire 10-12.5" wide, maybe 9.5".

any easy way to check is to use tirerack.com on their site if you look up tires in the size that you want and then check out the tire's detailed info one of the categories is the manufacturers recommended wheel size. I'll admit that its something i use all the time.

thanks guys!
