Wondering if anyone has tried the Diablo MAF extender?

My stock one pegs at 4200rpm (4.99V) with a Powerdyne and this looks like a viable option (compared to a bigger MAF)

Get a larger MAF, anything you do to screw with the MAF readings is going to hurt you worse then help you any. For the price of most MAF extenders, around $150, you can get a used and even possibly new Lightning/Cobra 90mm MAF on Ebay.

Both are going to require a retune anyway.

thanks, Doug.

did you ever consider that if you are pegging your MAF, that you are close to cycling your injectors at 100%?

The extender seemed to make more sense as since in my case I peg at about 4200 to 4500 rpm and I am only looking at another 1000 rpm, I only need to "re-cal" a little.

Once I pick up and install the WB A/F I can figure out where to go from there.

Doug, any word on the other Mountaineer SC'd app what you were going to do some testing with the F150 MAF swap?

Thanks

Well the one in South Ga I haven't heard back from in a while but I've ran across another guy in NC with not only a S/C 5.0 but he already has 30lbs injectors and a 80mm maf so he's on the right track to start from. I have a dyno day in planning on the 3rd weekend in January and he's gonna be there for that. I'm finishing up his X-2 tonight to send to him to get some preliminary data from.

I'll keep you posted.

Thanks, Doug.
