Well today they finally came in.Most impressed with them so far.Next up is getting the spacers installed. Will post pics when all is said and done.

Question for anyone who has done these before. Why was it such a tight fit with these compared to the stock headlights? When i was pushing the headlight housing back in the housing the turn signals are in it broke on the side due to being tight. Thanks for any light shed on that.

-Mike

Thanks.I think it might have something to do with the new clips it came with.Mine came off just fine when taking the old ones off.Im looking to get new housings for the lenses anyway so it dosent matter it broke.

do you have some better daytime shots of the front of your truck? I like your grill with those clear corners.

Looks great. I've got a set sitting in my room dying to go in. All my time is being put towards the SAS though. Diamond lights won't do me any good if the truck won't move!

How did your front bumper get that dent? When I got my Explorer, it had that same dent, in that same place and we've never understood how it got there  Luckily my bumper was black = hit it with a 4lb hammer and repaint it.

My bumper got that way due to some idiot pulling out in front of me.
I was driving down the one side of the road which was 3 lanes and i was in the turning lane.Well when i got right next to this guys car he decided to try a u turn and i plowed him in the driver side door.He said that he was getting ready to go right then and sell that car.So along with the bumper my fender was dented and my other diamond signals were scratched.Thats why i got new ones. Then the guy lied to the insurance company.I tried pounding the bumper and i got nothing in return. One day ill get around to getting another.Im going for the black look now because im tired of trying to keep chrome trim clean from bug guts.

Thanks im liking it more and more each day.The light output over stock is amazing.I have bad night vision and these things help out alot.

Mine just came in from matrix racing and they were not the easiest things to install but I was very impressed with the results. I bought the pure white lights which are excellent at night. I also bought led corner lights and clear amber turn signals. It turned out to be pretty cool. My pics are under the elite gallery.

Hey very nice looking truck. My lights were a pain to install also.I thought about taking them apart and trying the stock clips and see if that helps with the fit on them.Im running Silverstars on the headlights and then the turn lights are the xenon blue and then the sides are regular OEM bulbs.Ive done LEDs before pretty nice light output on them.

Whoa those look pretty nice, how much are they asking for those things?

I got the headlights on ebay for $99 plus $30 shipping.
The turn signals and side markers i belive got from same person for $30 shipped.

Who did you buy from? My set was a combo (everything for 100 bucks) plus 30 shipping...

I belive it was from Makato Auto Trends on eBay.I might have not looked to hard into a combo listing.I had just ordered a new turn signal/side marker set because my old one was scratched some and didnt even plan on buying the headlights until i did a search and found those.Oh well i guess.Still got the set ive wanted since i found them when they came out.

That's where I got mine. If I remember right, they did have the other auctions with the prices you listed. I got lucky and searched their store again before I bought it and found the combo for cheaper than the rest of their auctions.

Yea i didnt search the store.I was happier than a virgin on a honey moon night that i found them.So i snatched them up and didnt look back.

I ordered mine from matrixracing.com. I paid 250, more than I wanted to but I had no luck finding them anywere else. Does anyone know if there is a special tool to fit the adjustment screws?

Are you talkingabout the headlight adjustment? As in aiming the headlights?
If so i used a 4mm socket to aim mine.I forget which way is up and down to aim them.Maybe someone can respond if thats what you are talking about.
