Did 5-Speed Swap now vibration @3K RPM???

Title says it all, swapped a manual trans out of a 03 F150 V6 into my 97 mountaineer and now I have what seems to be an engine vibration around 3000 rpm.

I used a 50oz flywheel for a 96 F150 with the 302 and I assume it only bolts on in one position????????

I am at a loss with this one and its really irritating me

Have you looked over the crossmember mounts and the engine mounts and make sure you do not have a broken or dry rotted rubber mount? And have you checked the driveshafts for bad u-joints and or a unbalanced shaft?

It was the damn trans crossmember, it positioned the engine so that the front of the oil pan was contacting the steering rack and transmitting a vibration through the vehicle.

I modified the crossmember and all is now well!!

(Modified it by making in so that the trans sits lower by welding a flat plate onto it after cutting it)
