Did anyone install these windscreen washer lights? Are these difficult to install? Any drilling necessary?

Thanks for your advice

since the X;s washers are built into the cowl, there really isnt a way to install the normal washer LEDs unless you just drill holes and place them in yoru hood. unless BMXBOY has an interesting way of doing something ... any suggestions bmx?

-94 X washers on hood

Hmm

I think the washers of the -94 explorers are placed on the hood.

Am I wrong?

lol, i'll see what i can do...although if the 94's have the washers in the hood, you should be fine. I know that mine are not...i personally do not like the look of the washer LED's on cars....thus i use the LED's for various other projects :)

The 91-94's are in the cowl but they can be installed. I have seen a few early models around here with them but they never look right because the color of the lights never matches the rest of the lights on the truck.

I've got em in the stock place on my '92. To do a 'good' job you would need to pull your fenders and the vent panel. I'm going to do that this summer. THere are holes that you can pull the wires through, but you just can't get the nut on without pulling taking the panel off. For a temporary solution I superglued them in place. Seems to work just fine.
