Anyone know of a company that sells dies for plastics. I am looking for a solution to a paint chipping issue I am having with my plastic rocker panels.

We don't sell dies/molds but we buy and use them. What do you have in mind?

I'm looking for a die for my plastic rockers. This would be used instead of paint. Sort of like shoe die, but for plastic. Is there such a thing? No matter what I do, the paint chips off the plastic.

Sounds like it might be time for huruliner. I comes in black, grey and I think red. Not sure what else you could do. Have you taken them off, sanded, primed and painted them?

Do a search for VHT

It is a dye that penetrates the plastic and vinyl. I used it to change the color of my interior and it worked great.

Highly recommended.

Forever black won't change the color from gray to black, it'll just restore a faded black. That VHT dye looks like it'd work good, I might pick some of that up and see how it works. I painted my bumper trim and it holds up good, but I think this might be a more permanent solution.

Have you tried to paint them? Try using the paint for the plastic bumper covers. It won't change the actual color of the plastic, but it should hold up against stone shipping pretty good.

I've used Herc and paint, nothing stays on.

I may just have a shop do it but they get knicked up all the time so I don't need them to look good. I just want something that's not paint.

The rockers ar gray and need to be black.

I checked out that VHT, that's what I was looking for. Only problem is they don't have black.

Yes they do have black, jet gloss black and satin black. Look at the color chart, it's the second product down: Dead Link Removed
