Difference between these 2 speakers

I was looking at some Alpine 5x7's today on Crutchfield and noticed they have 2 different kinds. The SPS-570A are $110 whereas the SPR-574A are $200. Which of these is better? The 570A's seem to be able to handle more power, yet they're cheaper. Is the tweeter protection worth the extra $90?

I just installed 4 570A's an hour ago, they sound great!!! I would highly recommend them... If you can afford it, go with the type R's. But you can beat the price of the type s's. I got 2 pairs off ebay for 50 bucks a pair, so 100 bucks for two pairs.. Shop around before you buy. Good luck!

Im not sure of the specs, but its really personal preferance. Whatever sounds better to your ear is what you should get. Go to audio stores and actually listen and then decide what sounds good and buy that.

If you're going to use just the headunit to power them , then go with the cheaper type S, The type R's will sound underpowered if you use just the headunit. It's best to run speakers that are close to the rated RMS of your input.
