different thermostat for apten chip?

will i need a different thermostat when i get my apten chip? i've heard that some chips even come with a thermostat. thanks

No you will not need a different thermostat. Some companies such as JET have the foolish idea that a colder thermostat will generate more power. Not sure how they came to that conclusion but it is simply not true.
