Differential Fluid Replacement

Anyone have a write-up for changing the diff. fluid in my front differential on a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT v6 4wd
Thanks in advance. No drain plug present, changing it not too easy! Why are you considering doing this?

Would also love to have a diagram of the front axle area if anyone has it. trying to diagnose a noise. Sorry such info I DO have, but right now not accessible. If you plan on keeping this, or a like vehicle very long, buy a Ford Shop Manual!... imp

I bought a suction gun, kinda looks like a grease gun without the grease spout. Sucks the old oil out pretty well from the fill hole. Refilled with new semi-syn oil. Wasn't hard at all, I've done it twice so far.

Also change your transfer case oil with Mercon V, it is easy to do.

What kind of friction modifier did you use in your rear diff assuming you have already changed it?
