directional tread patterns

I have a 2003 sport and plan on lowering it. I was looking at the fortera triple treds and was wondering what size i should get. I was thinking 245 75 16 but i wasn't sure. Are there any advantages disadvantages to this type of tire. if i lowered the truck would these tires be all right. All help is appreciated!!

your tire size is all relative to how low you go... that will determine what will fit but more importantly what looks the best so, how low you goin?

i want to go about 3 to 4 inches down from stock.... do you think its possible to fit a 245 75??

ok so right now i have 265 75 16 tires and im not sure how to tell if a 245 75 16 will fit when i lower it i dont want to get it and then have it not fit. you know what i mean?
