Do I need a lift for 31's???

I'm pretty sure I do. I have a 98 xlt 4x4. What size can I get away with w/o a lift???

some trucks ca fit 31's without a lift, others cant, every truck is diffrent 30's will def fit though

Just go ahead and spend 50 bucks to do a TT and shackles and run 31's without worry.

Fit the same 31 on two different vehicles with no problem. Looks better w/o the lift. You need 32s if you're going to lift

I ran 31's after a 2" suspension lift and I thought it looked better than it would w/ 32's. I think they would have just filled up too much of the wheelwell. Of course I also have a 1st gen, so....could be a little different.

2" lift with the 31's...i just think there is too much gap...ite even worse than in this pic...

I think it looks fine like that. Besides, you might have had rubbing issues w/ the 32's.
