Does 2001 Explorer have an internal amp?

Does the 2001 Explorer head unit have an internal or external amp? It's not the premium system. It's just the base system.

I want to put the radio from the 2001 Explorer into a 1996 Explorer. Any suggestions?

Also, anyone have a layout of the wire harness connections for the 2001 explorer?

I believe that it has built in power if it is not the premium system.
If you are looking to replace the radio in the 2001 I would just get a harness that plugs into the factory plugs. I have a few pin outs for the factory plugs can you give a discription of the plug or plugs. If you can post a picture even better and I could fax you a diagram.
