Does anyone know if a junkyard would buy parts from you? I have complete roof rack and running boards for an 02 explorer...i took them off because I didnt like the look and now there just sitting here.

You are better off selling it privately. Junk yards only purchase whole vehicles from city auctions.

You can just toss them on craigslist, or the for sale section here.

I will have to look more into this elite membership thing. It supports the forum and I get rid of some junk just laying around. That's a win-win situation. haha. Believe me I've tried craigslist and for some reason people around me dont seem to want any of this stuff.

Takes the right buyer. It took me about a month and a half to sell my running boards.
