Does anyone make a "real" brushguard for my ' 95 Explorer? I want something like the RanchHand I have on my Tahoe, something that can take the impact of a deer at 70 mph.

The only ones for the Explorer that I've seen are not made for actual usage. A friend has a Manik (sp?) on his Grand Cherokee and it crumpled horribly when he hit a deer.

If you really wanna go deer hunting why don't you just buy a gun? LOL.

dbarale - I don't want to hit a deer, but they are a reality around here and its better safe than sorry.

soupbone - Thanks, but I don't want a replacement bumper, just a heavy duty brush guard.

Look to have something fabbed if you want brute strenght. I have a buddy who is looking into buying a pushbar business where they custom make these things. I'll let you know if they go anytime soon.
