hey is there anything at the local auto store that i could get instead of ordering seafoam

I've heard ordinary H2O works well, too, though I've never actually tried it. Like with seafoam, you need to be careful not to hydrolock the engine.

Years ago when cars still had carbs, we would "drizzle" auto transmission fluid into the carbs and it would clean the top end. There are lots of stuff at the marine shops shops sold by motor mfgs. The big outboards are decarbed about every 100 hours or so because of the 2 cycle oils being mixed w/gas and carboning up the rings etc.
If you just want a good clean out of the fuel system and I am sure will help parts also, use a very strong mix of Chevron Techron. Costco sells Techron in boxes of 4 bottle for under $10.00. I ran some last week through my low speed jets (idiling) 16 oz tp3 gal gas and it sure helped out.
You just live down the road a few miles from me, check at the NAPPA stores there in Oak Harbor, they should have it on the shelf or go to the Costco in Mt Vernon.

Marvel mystery oil works as will any so called top oil, seafoam is witches brew bullsh$$T IMO
