does my xlt have keyless?

i just bought a 2000 ranger xlt. i was going through the manual and it explains somethign about keyless entry, tho i dont have a remote. however the manual is rather generic so i guess it works with all ranger models. but from what i gather the xlt model is the higher end one. so id assume it would have keyless.

anyways, is there something i can check to find out if it did have keyless entry originally and somewhere down the line an owner lost the remotes. in which case i hope i can get some from a dealer.

any help would be appreciated. thx

If your 2000 Ranger has power locks, it also has RKE. You can get inexpensive new or used remote fobs on eBay - just be sure that your year/model is listed in the auction. There may be programming instructions included with the remotes or you can find them in the original owners manual.
