i know that after some repairs, you disconnect the power from the computer so it begins its self tuning - like for the transmission shift points - it adjusts to your driving style
does the computer do this all the time?
i recently changed my spark plugs from those bosch +4 thingys (yeah i know - everyone was right about them being crap in a ford) - i was thinking it would not hurt to reset the computer by disconnecting the power - and its not a big deal to do - but i was wondering if adjusting the transmission shift points was a lifelong task for the computer or if it only does its adjustment for a specific time after being reset
