Does this sound like the blend door actuator?

Did some searching, but didn't find exactly what i was looking for. 2003 XLT v-6/auto 2wd. Manual heater controls. Stopped at a gas station, and when i started back up, it was making a constant "knocking" sound when i went to put it at anything but cold. Will only blow out of defrost also. Rear heat/ac controls still function normally. From what I read i do believe its the actuator.

Noise is actuator but that has nothing to due with only coming out of defrost. Usually it is a vacuum leak that causes defrost only.

I used that guide earlier today and it made removal a breeze. I tested more an its just when its on feet only that it blows out the defrost also. Have to go pick up an actuator tomorrow.
