just make sure you let the adheasive dry fully.
Other wise you will end up with the GMish headliner sag.

BTW where did you get the material ?

i got it at jo ann's..

half way done

Nice job

It looks very nice. When you post the write up please include any install tricks and problems encountered. I'm interested in knowing how easy it is to get the fabric to conform to the various cut outs and angles of the headliner?

It's not that easy DeRocha. You really have to work the fabric with all the dips in the headliner. Alot of patience.

yeah we got JoAnnes down here.
I never knew they had suade.

I am going shopping.

how much was it?

Looks good but, It looks like you glued the suede right onto the factory material. I am planning on doing a suede headliner too, but I am planning on removing the factory headliner material and glueing it to directly to the fiberglass/foam headliner backer board. That way there is not even MORE weight pulling on the thin foam that deteriorates over time (leading to the 'GM headliner sag' problem).

ok i got it done....im VERY happy!! had some bubbles around the moon roof. but then i used a blow dryer to heat it up and smoothed it out. not it looks great!! im very happy! BUT the main reson for pulling the headliner was to fix a sqeek in my moon roof. so thats fixed so im like double happy..lol

for 5 yards it was $25..then the adheasive was like $8 a can(2) so its only like a $30-40 mod.

That looks awesome!..Did you need the full 5 yards and 2 cans?

2 cans of adheasive yes used all of it. but i only needed about 4 yards of suede. i dident mesure before i went there. so i wanted to play it safe. so now i have about 1 yard let.
