Last I saw, dealers and shops wanted around $3,500 to do the timing. At k e point, dealers would just put in a remand engine instead. Time = $.
It’s an easy job to do yourself if you have the tools. Most of which you’d have if you work on your own cars. I just had to buy the timing tools, which I scored off FB for $60, OTC.
