so I recently had a run in with a car and two deer in one month. lets just say it has not been good to my 93 explorer. I lost everything except my left headlight. the grill and other light fixture is gone. I have a 94 explorer sitting out back and I was wondering If I can take all the gear off of that and replace it onto my 93? if anyone could give me some instructions and pointers that would help TONS!!

Everything on the 94 will fit on the 93. The only difference between the years is the 94 has EGR. Other than that, I would say drive slower.

Is there any actual body or frame damage from hitting the deer, or is it just the plastic parts? The grille, headlight housing/headlight, etc are all pretty easy to replace or swap, but that's on a vehicle with no damage. If there's any body or frame damage, then things get a lot harder because you'd be trying to install parts that no longer want to fit.

the frame arms that the headlight attaches to are bent and the piece above the bumper is bent.

Without seeing what you're talking about I'm having a bit of difficulty visualizing it, but if the damage is decently bad and you're wanting to look as good as possible, it sounds to me like your best option would be to swap the fenders and everything attached (externally) from the '94 (I assume it's a parts car at this point?). It's not really hard to do (it's just a handful of bolts per fender, less than 10 probably), just a bit time consuming. If you go that route, it is extremely helpful to have another set of hands, especially when attaching the replacement fenders so you can align them properly. By the time it was all said and done, it took me and a buddy about an hour and a half to install and perfectly align a single OEM fender on his '92 when he got t-boned, and we didn't have to remove it from an existing vehicle. That being said, if you don't want mis-matched paint or don't want to deal with that much labor, you can probably get most of the parts to install onto the damaged pieces, however the headlight may be difficult/impossible to align depending on the severity of the damage to that area.
