door jam switch

I have a 98 E/B, and the door jam switch for the drivers door does not seem to work. All other doors work fine. I don't see where the switch is located. So where is it, and how bad is it to change out?

It isn't in the jam (like other vehicles), it in the latching mechanism. Lot's of posts on this... usually a good dose of wd40 helps things out. Take the door panel of and check to see that the wire is still attached.
