Maybe in the wiring that goes into the door, you know where it has to flex a bit as the door swings open & closed.

Ty i'll look at that

Did you pull the door panel and check the actual connector that goes to the keypad? I had purposely disconnected this connector for a while to disable the keypad (long story). I believe it is just below the mirror area....just follow the wiring fromt he door keypad to the connector.

I checked those and still nothing I even picked up a new keypad and it still won't even light up is there arelay or fuse maybe I just am not getting any power to the keypad

Check the 22-pin connector on the Remote Anti-theft Personality Module. Pin 15 provides the power to the keypad.
The RAP module is just above the rear wheelwell, driver's side, in the 4-door explorers. You have to open the panel that stores the jack.
Not sure if it is in the same location in the sport model.

The smaller of the two connectors on that module connects to the door keypad.
If you unplug this, the anti-theft and the keypad stop working.

Where is the anti theft relay located this is a cuss trying to find relays on this thing think ford tries to keep that secret
